Accident: P was CTA bus driver. Getting off bus slipped and fell hitting tailbone. Filled out accident report saying he slipped getting off bus on step, and hit tailbone on step. At hearing P testified he saw a metal strip on the edge of the step of the bus that looked "worn and shiny" and he thinks that' what he slipped on. P testifies he did not indicate on accident form that step was worn or shiny because that was not one of the options he could check-off on the form.
Accident was found, as this metal strip on the edge of the step is an increased risk for bus drivers who have to go in and out of the bus a lot all day (just like a daily commuter in the general public? Hey, nobody asked us).
Injury: Lumbar sacral contusion, maybe more
